International Women's Day: MySpace Women's Day International Comments
A struggle launched against the vindication of the rights of women and violence against women way back in 1908. It gradually took a big shape and led to the United Nations Charter, the 1st international agreement to honor gender equality and the year 1975 was designated as ‘International Women’s Year’. International Women’s Day -- an event which originated in 1910 in Copenhagen as a women’s rights movement and as an international day for the elimination of violence against women.

Well, the struggle is still on world wide with a demand to restore women's rights as a part of human rights. In many parts of the world the International Women's Day celebration is often seen as an opportunity to reach out to women around them with heartfelt appreciations, sharing women's day wishes and women's day cards. But it's something really quite different; its a hardcore struggle to bring the ray of life and hope to the women society world wide.
